We are here to support children, youth, adults, and families living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. We provide caregiver, pregnancy, and addictions support. Our mission is to enhance capacity for the prevention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and for the provision of care and support to rural communities surrounding Paris. We have provided these services for over 20 years.

Our Philosophy

We strive to increase resiliency and reduce harm through relational support. No one is turned away. We offer non-judgmental and respectful support to individuals with FASD and their caregivers. We provide support to pregnant women through our Healthy Futures program. We offer training and workshops to professionals. We deliver an on-going prevention and awareness program to the communities we serve.

We serve the rural communities surrounding Paris. Including, but not limited to; Okotoks, High River, Nanton, Claresholm, Strathmore, Airdrie, Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise.

Our Healthy Futures program is designed to assist pregnant women with nutrition, coaching, and all around support throughout the pregnancy - and beyond.

Our Programs

A variety of programs that enhance self care for caregivers, empower people with FASD, encourage those with addictions issues, promote healthy pregnancies are offered at the 101 Centre.

 

Healthy futures

Formerly known as “Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies” the Healthy Futures program supports women during pregnancy, postpartum and early parenting phases. The program provides support with healthy lifestyle choices with a focus on nutrition and health during pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenting and beyond.
 

Caregiver SUPPORT

We offer caregiver support groups in Okotoks, Turner Valley, High River, and Strathmore. We also offer the opportunity for one to one support for families in their own community.

SMART stands for Self Management and Recovery Training. Group members meet to discuss alternatives to substance use and support each other with strategies to reduce harm.
 

one to one adult support

With a focus on increasing resilience and skills needed to ensure success, this program is available for adults suspected or diagnosed with FASD.
